There was a board game in the early 1900's that included a postal cancellation stamp for the Toy Town post office. Children often used the stamp on other things than the game pieces and cards, whether sports or otherwise, were regularly stamped. We've seen the Toy Town stamp on many e-cards as well as t-cards.
